The simple way of working VPN is to encrypt data exchanges even before a public connection at a coffee shop or internet cafe reads it. When connected to the internet using a VPN connection such as accessing the internet using a special aisle, not using the main network.The VPN server is responsible for forwarding your connection to the site you want to access. So the connection you make will be recognized as a connection from the network VPN server, not the network that was used at that time.So when using a network without VPN, the connection is done directly (direct) without encryption.
